Our specialty is in the area of positive youth developement through football &cheer. Our returning players, coaches, and families value the loyalty, respect, and teachings of our league. We are always looking for new players and thier families to joing our mustang family.
The mission of the Jr Foothill Mustangs is to provide a competitive sports program to the community that encourages physical conditioning, good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, perseverance and respect for authority. By running a program structured to encourage all participants, board members and coaches to model our core values, our youth learn values that will further benefit them in their everyday lives and their future.

Ages and Weights
All Players must meet age / weight limits. The player's age as of August 1st of the current year shall determine team level of participation. Player weight will determine position eligibility, i.e. skilled player, X-man. Any Player weighing heavier than the skilled player weight will then be certified to participate as an X-man only.
SP = Skilled Player, Eligible to participate anywhere on the field of play.
*X-man = A player weighing more than the SP weights. Eligible to participate on the offfensive line in a 3-4 point stance, must play center, Gaurd or Tackle . Also eligible to participate on the defensive line in a 3-4 point stance.
Failure to comply with the X-man rules will result in a loss of down and a 15-yard penalty. The penalty will be enforced from the original line of scrimmage. A second violation will result in the same previously mentioned penalty plus, the ejection of the team's head coach. A third violation will result in a forfeit.
All games will be played in accordance with the National Federation of State High Schools Association rules, except where noted.

* Mascot - Mascot cheerleaders are optional. The decision to have them will be left up to the indiviual associations. If associations choose to have themm, they will be required to participate in the certification process and meet all other league rules and requirements.
> Light make up, face painting, tattoos, are allowed on game day only. (Pending Authorization)
> No jewlry of any kind including ankle bracelets, watches, rings, earrings including facial and body rings ect. are allowed at practices, games competition or other cheerleading events.
